As your celebrant, it is my duty to ensure that your wedding ceremony is special and unique to you, while also make sure that all the legalities of a Personalised Ceremony are taken care of.

The most important part of my role is to listen and to guide. I will work with you to craft and officiate a ceremony that respects your wishes and any traditions that are important to you.

This is a journey we will walk together.

My Process

My process varies depending on your needs, however the following provides a guide as to how we would work together.

No-obligation conversation
It’s important to ensure that I am the right celebrant for you. This all starts with a no-obligation conversation. This could be a phone call, a video call, or meeting in person. This is an opportunity for us to get to know each other.

Confirming the date
If you decide that I am the right celebrant for you, this is where we make it official and book in the date for your special day. A fair deposit would be required at this point to secure the date.

Guidance
I provide you with any guidance you may need in terms of legalities and helping you with organising your Wedding License.

Crafting the content for the ceremony
We work together on crafting your perfect ceremony. We do this collaboratively using Google Docs to ensure transparency and that we all have access to the resources.

Rehearsal
If desired, we hold a rehearsal with your wedding party to ensure we all understand what we need to do and how the ceremony will flow on the day.

Your special day
I will officiate your perfect ceremony and ensure all the legalities are taken care of.

The paperwork
Following your ceremony I take care of submitting all the paperwork to Births, Deaths, and Marriages.

Fees

Everyone’s journey and requirements are different, so my celebrancy fee is something we negotiate based on your specific needs and budget.

However, to provide an indication, my celebrancy fee starts at $149.50 (incl. GST) for a very basic registry-style ceremony which follows a set script and no rehearsal.
